The trail comes into Hanover over Ledyard Bridge and goes through town to the DC athletic fields behind Mobil Station on Route 120 approximately 1.5 miles from Gile Hill. The AT exits Hanover at Goose Pond Road. Trail crosses Trescott Road, Hanover Center Road, and Three Mile Road. Strenuous over Velvet Rocks and Moose Mountain, other sections moderate to easy.
